Current assignment – Promoter, boutique advisory firm MSJ Capital & Corporate Services, Jhaveri advises corporates, banks and institutions on investments through the mutual fund route. He also conducts lectures and workshops for IFAs, students & faculty of schools & Colleges.

Summary of past experience – Jhaveri started his career in 1985 with V B Desai & Jayantilal Khandwala in Mumbai before branching out on his own along with his wife, Monica Jhaveri, to set up MSJ Capital in 1994.

Academic/profession qualifications – Jhaveri is a commerce graduate from University of Mumbai & a Chartered Accountant by qualification.

Personal details – Jhaveri has two passions – advising clients and golf. He is associated with quite a few charities in Ahmedabad in memory of his late father-in-law, M J Pherwani (former Chairperson of UTI, NHB, IL&FS, SCHIL & MSFC). His wife worked with ANZ Grindlays, BCCI and finally Citibank before joining MSJ Capital as full time Director. They have two sons, aged 21 and 15.
