Current assignment – General Manager-Wealth Management, South Asia for Standard Chartered Bank with overall responsibility of advising clients across a full range of savings, investment, trading and protection products.

Summary of past experience – Kapoor has been an active contributor to the development of the wealth management industry in India. He has been associated with the Financial Planning and Standards Board of India and has served as a Director on the Board. He has also been a member of several industry working groups constituted by regulators and industry associations. He is frequently invited to contribute to investor education initiatives through press articles and electronic media interviews, as well as participation in industry forums to help the development of the Wealth Management industry in India

Academic/profession qualifications – Kapoor is a post-graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from St Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
