Divyesh has more than 14 years of experience in advising clients on various indirect tax legislations including Service tax, excise, customs, foreign trade policy and value added tax. He has assisted clients across industries such as IT/ITES, financial services, media & entertainment, logistics, retail, infrastructure, manufacturing, etc.
He has extensive experience in advising multinational and domestic companies in making tax efficient supply chains models. He is also a member of EY’s Tax Technology team. Divyesh has been actively involved in making representations and liaising with Governmental authorities (both State as well as Centre) on reforms in tax laws, with particular reference to service tax and GST. He has also been involved in helping clients obtain tax concessions from authorities such as value added tax, entertainment tax, etc. He is regular speaker at GST conferences and has made several editorial contributions on the subject.
