Sanjay Sapre is President of Franklin Templeton Asset Management (India). In this capacity, he is responsible for leading Franklin Templeton's retail and institutional business in India.
He has been actively engaged in a number of industry initiatives in India and serves on the Board of MF Utilities. Sapre has over 16 years of experience with Franklin Templeton. During this time, he has held roles in eBusiness and Transfer Agency.
Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, he was a manager at Thomas Cook (India Limited) and was responsible for the company's e-commerce efforts, and supporting business development. He previously worked at Pinnacle Data Systems, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio as manager operations responsible for the company's operations and purchasing functions.
Sapre holds an M.B.A from Ohio University, United States.
