Sujata Kabraji started her career post her MBA with the Times of India group where she strategized and successfully helped launch what is now the Pune Times. This success led to a national roll-out of the concept including the much loved and hated Bombay Times.
She then changed lanes and joined a stock-broking firm, where she was one of the first women on Dalal Street. This firm grew from a three person team to a 50-member company and became one of the top 25 firms.
In 2006-07, she started her own boutique practice catering to a limited number of investors.
She has conducted several investor education programs with organizations like SAS and Godrej, MoneyLife Foundation, FICCI and the World Zorastrian Chamber of Commerce.
She has appeared on radio shows, written for the Times of India, Elle magazine, Femina and also on CNBC Sheconomy, a show for women spearheaded by DSP BlackRock MF.
She is passionate about simplifying and eliminating the fear of finance and has found this a great enabler where women investors are concerned.
Her interests include travel, reading, writing and swimming.
